The Telestream SPG9000-LIC-PTP Upgrade offers the option to add the Software License for IEEE 1588 PTP Support on 2x Ports and SMPTE ST 2059-2 or AES67 Profiles to the user's SPG9000 Timing/Reference Generator. This option adds two Precision Time Protocol (PTP) engines to the unit in which the primary PTP engine features the capability to be the master PTP source or the ability to lock the unit to the PTP as the slave unit. The secondary PTP engine can only be used as a master unit.

This option is field-installed and can be purchased at any time for usage with the SPG9000 Timing/Reference Generator.
