Air Ionizer Test Kit
  • Portable kit for testing of offset voltage and discharge times of air ionizers and electrostatic fields
  • Measures surface voltage and polarity on objects up to ±19.99 kV at a distance of 1 inch
  • Stainless steel conductive plate for static sensor pairs with the included 718 Static Sensor to measure offset voltage and discharge times for the periodic verification of ionizers per ANSI/ESD SP3.3 and ESD TR53
  • ±1000V Charger applies charge to the conductive plate to measure discharge times of air ionizers
  • Durable enclosure with membrane switches protects meter from physical damage and minimizes wear
  • LED Range Finder aides the operator with placing the meter at the correct distance from the object being measured
  • Hold button
  • Includes carrying case with polypropylene enclosure and polyurethane foam insert to protect and store the instruments
  • NIST Calibrated with certificate included

The SCS 770718 Air Ionizer Test Kit allows the included 718 Static Sensor to be used to measure the offset voltage (balance) and charge decay of ionization equipment. The 770718 also includes a charger used to place a ±1000V charge on the conductive plate, making it possible to also measure the discharge times of air ionization equipment per ANSI/ESD SP3.3 Periodic Verification of Air Ionizers. The 770718 provides a highly portable and cost effective means of verifying the performance of a wide variety of ionization equipment.
