The PROMAX IR-282 Thermal Imaging Camera with Visual Camera/Analysis Software (120 x 120, 50 Hz) includes a built-in LCD screen that displays captured images in real time. The included software allows the user to display and analyze the thermal images along with generating and printing reports. Images can be captured based off of four color palettes.

  • PC Software included
  • Temperature Range: -20º to 250ºC
  • Visible Spectrum Camera: 57600 px
This item ships FREE
  • LCD: 3.2 in. TFT LCD 240 x 320 px
  • Resolution: 120 x 120 px
  • Visual camera: 57600 px
  • Spatial resolution: 5 mrad
  • Visible spectrum is initial reference to take thermal image of any object or living being
  • Infrared spectrum displays thermal emissivity of environment or item under analysis along with immediate measurement of its temperature
  • Improved dual image: Post-processed combination of both infrared and visible spectrums; find those items which are indistinguishable in infrared image because of their thermal similarity
  • Free analysis software:
  • Users can apply measurements to captured images (even creating 3D images) and to create reports from captured images
  • Reports can be created from scratch or from templates included in software application
  • Data can be printed and exported to Microsoft Word files, allowing unlimited customization

Applications

  • Industrial servicing: Detection of hot spots in electrical panels, engines and any type of machines; information can be key to avoiding service interruptions or accidents
  • Design, manufacturing and servicing of electronic circuits: Detecting hot spots in circuit boards can help us to detect failures and to anticipate operation problems
  • Locating living beings in dark: In general, living beings have body temperatures higher than surrounding environment temperatures, it is often possible to find them with IR imagers
  • Construction and maintenance: Isolation and energy saving, thermal cameras allow users to identify those points where poor insulation allows heat loss; they can also can be used to detect leaks in pipes, dampness, check heating systems, etc.
  • Chemistry and derivatives: Verification of container contents (ex. find out how much gas is left in given, hard to reach pressured cylinders)
