The PROMAX IC-300 Portable Digital Frequency Meter features high sensitivity in frequency measurements from 3 Hz to 3 GHz in two overlapping ranges. Also featured is the period measurement function from 8 ms to 330 ms.

The IC-300 uses a reciprocal measurement technique that gives the user high resolution at all frequencies with a fast update rate. High levels of sensitivity are provided across the entire frequency range. The user can select a low pass filter to reduce noise at lower frequencies.

This unit features a large 8-digit LCD screen for ease of reading. The low level of power consumption of the IC-300 allows the unit to operate for several hours (approximately 20 hours) uninterruptedly when powered by a 9V battery. The auto shut-off function after 15 seconds gives extra life to the battery on the occasion when continuous signal monitoring is not necessary.
