The Megger 514360-8 DETEX Electronic Voltage Detector with Red LED and Audible Indication, 2.3 to 7.2 kV, provides audible and visual indication of the presence of phase-to-ground AC voltages. It is designed for use on distribution line voltages and is equipped with a single red LED.
The 514360-8 Voltage Detector provides continuous monitoring with no on/off switch and also features a slim design to enhance work in tight quarters. It responds to minimum phase-to-ground voltages as outlined by ANSI C84.1 standards, with conformance to IEC guidelines for capacitive high-voltage test instruments. The 514360-8 Voltage Detector is powered by a 9V battery that can be easily replaced by the user.
