The Megger 1011-354 Capacitive Pick-Up Probe is designed for use with the MGFL100 Battery Ground Fault Locators. This pick-up probe allows for the identification of reactive leakage current due to stray capacitance during fault tracing. When this unit is used, the receiver of the main unit will alarm on any line with a real fault anywhere within the tracing process. If this unit is not used, the receiver of the main unit must be connected to the main unit's transmitter in order to identify the line with the real fault.
