• Adoption of pluggable M3 screw type input terminal facilitates wiring
• 20-CH measurements are supported by standard terminal, and 200-CH measurements are supported by extension terminal base

Data Capture

• High-capacity measurement data can be saved directly in internal memory or SD memory card
• Because SD memory card is used as an external memory, you can measure a long period of time with peace of mind while data backup (when optional wireless LAN unit is installed, SD memory card cannot be inserted into SD CARD2 slot)
• Because disk image can be used for internal memory, multiple data can be saved
• Ring memory capture function maintains latest data even after capturing for long term (set how long you want to keep data)
• For voltage, temperature and humidity measurements, data can be captured at sampling rates of up to 10 m/sec per channel by using fewer measuring channels (Temperature measurement can be done at sampling rates of 100 msec and higher)
• Equipped with relay recording function, 2 GByte or more data can be saved by switching to other file without data missing (when capacity of one file reaches 2 GByte, file is switched)

Data Control & Processing

• Application software provided lets you set conditions and monitor data on a PC
• USB drive mode function enables internal memory and SD memory card to be recognized as external drive by the PC (connect GL840-M to PC and turn on GL840-M power while holding down [START] key)
• WEB server function enables control and monitoring from remote location without using dedicated software
• FTP client function enables backup of measurement data to FTP server
• NTP client function enables synchronization of time with NTP server
• When optional wireless LAN unit is installed, data capture can be performed remotely by controlling GL100-WL
