The Desco 24724 Hook and Loop Heel Foot Grounder with 2 Meg Resistor features an elasticized hook and loop ankle strap for an easy fit over a shoe. The non-marring interior and tear-resistant rubber with an inner scrim layer work to prevent leaving marks and allow for higher durability. The cross-linked tire grade rubber features two wear surfaces.

The Desco 24724 Heel Foot Grounder, Hook and Loop, 2 Meg Resistor offers a two layer laminated, rubber sole. Grey colored inner layer is insulative styrene-butadiene-rubber and the outer black colored layer is conductive styrene-butadiene rubber. The Black grounding polyester ribbon tab is 18" long with 8 conductive carbon nylon strands, which are two-sided reversible and may be positioned on either side of foot. This model has been tested to ESD STM 97.2 - Floor Materials and Footwear Voltage Measurement in Combination with a Person. It is a suitable ESD footwear component in Flooring - Footwear System when used as the primary grounding method.
