The Benchmark Scientific D1031-01 2.0mL Tubes are prefilled with an appropriate amount of 0.1mm diameter silica (glass) beads for bead homogenization. The tubes are ready to use: beads are acid washed and heat treated to remove contaminants and render them nuclease and protease free. Suitable for homogenization of gram positive and gram negative bacteria. The tubes are suitable for use in most bead homogenizers including the BeadBug 3, BeadBug 6 and BeadBlaster 24.
