The Aaronia UBBV1 External Broadband Pre-amp 1 MHz-1 GHz is the answer to measuring weak signals, boosting probe and antenna gain, as well as many other needs. Use the UBBV1 anywhere a high gain, low noise amp is called for- digging out those weak shortwave signals or putting new life into an analyzer in the frequency range 1 MHz to 1 GHz. This pre-amp offers battery or AC adapter operation (internal, chargeable LiPO battery), with 40dB broadband amplification at very low noise levels. Recommended for EMC and Pre-Compliance tests like EN55011, EN55022, EN50371 etc. Attaches directly to any Spectran Analyzer and is compatible with any other brand of Spectrum Analyzers. Since the UBBV1 has such a high compression point of almost 100 milliwatts, it can even be used to boost the power of small micro transmitters.
