The Triplett 3030 Analog Multimeter is designed to make fast, accurate measurements on all types of electrical and electronic equipment. The indicating portion of the meter is actuated by a taut band suspension movement having a sensitivity of 50 microampere full scale. The glass meter window allows for added chemical resistance and the mirrored scale reduces parallax error.

The Triplett 3030 Model 630 Analog Volt-Ohm Meter is a compact, rugged, portable volt-ohm-milliammeter. It has been designed to make fast, accurate measurements on all types of electrical and electronic equipment.
The indicating portion of the Model 630 VOM is actuated by a taut band suspension meter having a sensitivity of 50 microampere full scale. This meter, by omitting conventional pivots, bearings and hairsprings, provides the following advantages:
- Increased repeatability by elimination of friction between pivots and bearings
- Greater ruggedness and durability as no moving parts are in contact; the elimination of the hairspring prevents snagging and tangling
- Temperature variations cannot cause sticky operation of the pointer
