The XProTec Cable Tester with Universal Adapter Kit is a cable continuity tester with short circuit detector for identifying cables in multi-run installations. The Cable Tester is used to place a DC current through one end of the desired cable to identifies the cable at the other end with the Detachable Tone Detector. The devices is also equipped with a short circuit detector that is used to determine if a short circuit exists in the cable being tested |
