  • Carries out air temperature measurements between 32° to 122 °F, with accuracy of ±0.9 °F
  • Ideal for low air velocities up to 984.25 fpm (5 m/s)
  • Automatic absolute pressure compensation guarantees accurate measurement results
  • Hot wire design ensures short response time
  • Fixed cable on handle easily connects probe to measuring instrument
  • Intelligent calibration concept allows main unit to be used continuously, with only the probe requiring calibration

The Testo 0635 1052 Digital Fume Hood Probe is used to determine air velocity, volume flow and air temperature. It is particularly suitable for low air velocities up to 984.25 fpm (5 m/s). The fixed cable on the handle is used to connect the fume hood probe to a measuring instrument (sold separately).

Fume cupboard testing plays an important role in ensuring the safety of those who work with substances that are harmful to health. For example, the fume cupboard offers protection against explosions as well as hazardous gases and vapours. Use the fume cupboard probe to measure the inflow rate and exhaust air volume flow in laboratory fume cupboards in accordance with DIN EN 14175-3/-4. This will guarantee that the fume cupboard is set up correctly and can function properly for your customer.

The fume food probe provides a clearly structured measurement menu for volume flow, making it easy to operate a compatible measuring instrument (sold separately). The volume flow is precisely calculated thanks to convenient input of the size and geometry of the duct cross-section. Timed and multi-point mean calculation, average volume flow, current reading and min./max. values are displayed in the measuring instrument. To ensure accurate measurement results, air density compensation is carried out via the integrated absolute pressure measurement.

Intelligent Calibration Concept

Users receive exceptionally accurate measurement results with the digital probe, because the measuring instrument makes measurement uncertainty a thing of the past. Only the probe needs to be sent in for calibration - allowing the measuring instrument to remain in continuous use.
