Installation & Operation Information

Operation Information:

1. Place a tape in your recorder and make sure that it is fully rewound.
2. Pick up the telephone and call the central dictation system.
3. Turn the recorder to the record position, and make sure that the tape is turning.
4. Use the touch tones on the phone to start the audio download process from the central station.
5. Turn the MUTE feature on your telephone on.  Do not hang up the phone.  You must keep the phone off hook to maintain the recording process.
6. Listen through the telephone ear piece to monitor the audio download.  When the download is completed, turn the recorder off, and disable the mute feature on the telephone.  Signal the central station that you are done and hang up.
