Basic Telephone Line Simulator Operation Information

Connection Diagram:

To Use:

1. Lift the phone handset (like you are going to make a call).
2. For one second, momentarily put the Normal/Ring switch to the Ring position.
3. You should now be running.
4. To record new prompts from a tape to the voice system, connect the Optional Message Source (a tape player), play the tape and start the voice system recording; of your phone has a Mute button, use it now. 
5. To record messages from the voice system to a tape, connect the Audio In/Out jack of the AS-4A to the MIC input of a tape recorder, play the message and start the recorder. 
6. When you hang up the phone, the voice system should immediately hang up.
