The Schomandl SafeOne Radiation
Meter measures the strength of electromagnetic fields from mobile
phones, microwave ovens, radio Installations, high frequency welders,
and other sources.
Schomandl SafeOne gives both an audio and visual warning when the limit,
according to WHO ICNIRP, has been exceeded.
High Frequency radiation is known to seep from microwave ovens. The
power and the time determines how quickly and how hot the material
within the oven becomes.
Likewise, other types of electromagnetic radiation influences other
material nearby. This, again, is a question of power and time when ever
it is a health hazard.
The WHO International Organization has given health hazard limits and
these limits are accepted as the standard in most parts of the world.
The limits are divided into two levels; One for Public and the other for
Professionals trained to work in high frequency radiation areas, called
Occupational/Professional.
Schomandl SafeOne is used to detect if you are in a high frequency
radiation field that could be hazardous to a person's health. However,
SafeOne can not give an exact value of the radiation strength or
determine how long the user can stay within the radiation field.
When there is a detected health risk, the Schomandl SafeOne sets off
it's alarm. If it goes off within your place of employment, you should
contact the Security Officer immediately. If you work near antenna
installations, please contact the installation's operator. |
