This Splicer is capable of automatic fusion splicing on all 3 axis (x, y, z) with maximum accuracy, and can simultaneously view x and y, or view them individually. The Prolite40B has a 5.7 inch color LCD monitor for clear digital images with temperature and atmospheric pressure indicators. With a 30 second heat-up time and an 8 second splice time for each fiber, splicing is fast and easy, and the splicer's small size and light weight allows convenient use in many situations.
