Fully Configurable Real-time Views on the Oscium WiPry-Combo
Oscium Wipry-Spectrum Fully Configurable Real-time Views
The real-time view of the Oscium Wipry-Combo +has a variety of useful features such as average waveform, max hold, raw wave, heat map, and more. The Wipry-Combo features can be enabled and disabled depending on what you want to do! The colorful display leverages the OpenGL display on your iOS device. In the screenshot to the left, max hold is outlined (in blue) along with identifiers showing the five peak signal amplitudes across the spectrum. The raw wave is also displayed within the colors and thresholds of the touch coloring bubbles on the far right side panel. Arrows indicate the current peak signals with color indicating the amplitude (also matching the coloring bubbles). In the picture, you can clearly see WiFi on the left side as the wide band and a single DSSS transmission as the narrow spike on the right.

The waterfall view shows RF activity as frequency over time with data moving from the top of the screen toward the bottom. The Oscium WiPry-Combo is perfect for analyzing frequency hopping systems and other protocol related phenomenon.

Measurements on the Oscium WiPry Combo's Spectrum Analyzer can be enabled to identify rows are displayed over the horizontal and vertical cursors with the color of the arrow indicating the intensity of the signal peaks (with red arrows indicating the greatest intensity). Once activated, these markers track up to five peaks along each axis, giving you the ability to visualize RF activity between 2.4GHz and 2.495GHz with the Oscium WiPry-Combo Spectrum Analyzer.

The real-time view of the Oscium WiPry-Combo can be adjusted to give you the optimal view for your specific task. In the sample picture on the right, we see raw RF spectrum activity as the colored waveform. Decay data is also shown as the light grey waveforms in the background. Waveform colors can be adjusted by clicking on the color tab. When cursors are activated in this view real-time dynamic measurements are displayed in either mW or dBm for each of the active waveforms.

The red and blue bubbles on the right side allow you to set the real-time waveform coloring. This is extremely useful for setting viewable thresholds. A quick double tap of the screen allows you to leverage the simple touch interface and also to see the cursor measurements, graph amplitudes, and graph frequencies.


Preferred Tool of the Next Generation of Inventors
The Oscium WiPry-Combo brings the typical LCD style RF power measurements to a graphical interface showing you the waveform of the amplitude with respect to time. The Oscium WiPry-Combo operates exactly like an oscilloscope but instead of showing voltage, you get RF amplitude! This means that you can capture, trigger, and record the actual power output as you would a voltage on an oscilloscope. This is extremely powerful for protocol verification and troubleshooting of wireless devices. With the optional conducted measurement kit, the Oscium WiPry-Combo is also capable of conducted measurements as well as non-RF related triggering. Data is collected at up to 12 MSPS allowing you to analyze and verify the smallest protocol level on/off times.

The Oscium WiPry-Combo's power meter function graphically displays your RF data with respect to time. Up to six different measurements can be displayed in the top right corner of the screen with additional metrics available at the bottom through the cursors. Packets can be triggered using touch-and-drag trigger level to the right. The Oscium WiPry-Combo is the easiest, most intuitive power meter you'll ever use. It's perfect for the next generation of inventors!
