The Onset SWSBM003 Wind Speed Smart Sensor with 3m Cable provides data reporting average wind speed and the highest 3-second gust for each logging interval. The starting threshold is at 1 m/s (2.2 mph) and the sensor itself is able to survive through 170 mph speeds. The 3 cup anemometer with Teflon bearings and hardened beryllium shaft allows for higher durability and resistance against faster wind.
