The Onset RG3 HOBO Data Logging Rain Gauge is a battery-powered rainfall data collection and recording system that works to collect rainfall, time, and duration data. The UA00364 HOBO Pendant Event Data Logger is integrated into the tipping-bucket rain gauge which stores the momentary contact events and allows for access to detailed event data.

Details

The Onset HOBO RG3 Data Logging Rain Gauge records up to 160 in. of rainfall at rates of up to 12.7 cm (5 in.) per hour. The Data Logging Rain Gauge system is battery powered and includes a HOBO Pendant Event data logger with a tipping-bucket rain gauge. Easily collect rainfall, time, and duration data, as well as temperature when used with an optional solar radiation shield (RS1 Solar Radiation Shield, or M-RSA). Base station or shuttle is required.

Note: RG3 data loggers require the HOBOware software (free to download) to operate. Please also note that a USB interface cable comes with the purchase of a HOBOware Pro CD (BHW-PRO-CD), only.
