The Onset U26001 HOBO Dissolved Oxygen Data (DO) Logger measures oxygen concentrations in lakes, streams, rivers, estuaries, and coastal waters and is recommended for use in aquatic biology or hydrology research projects. The optical dissolved oxygen (DO) technology allows for long-lasting calibration with less maintenance needed.

The Onset U26-001 HOBO Dissolved Oxygen Data (DO) Logger measures oxygen concentrations in lakes, streams, rivers, estuaries, and coastal waters. This precise data logger is recommended for aquatic biology and hydrology research projects. The HOBO U26-001 uses RDO Basic (Rugged Dissolved Oxygen) optical DO sensor technology and is easy to maintain.

Our HOBO U26-001 Dissolved Oxygen logger has been part of a multiyear evaluation of DO loggers and sensors by the Alliance for Coastal Technologies (ACT), and the results have been published online. This provides an un-biased report of how our U26-001 performs in lab and field conditions.

NOTE: For DO measurements in saltwater, an adjustment for salinity is required. For waters with small changes in salinity (<2 ppt), a salinity meter reading typically provides enough accuracy.

Note: U26-001 requires the HOBOware software (free to download) to operate, and either a U-DTW-1 Waterproof Shuttle or the Base-U-4 Optic USB Base Station for configuration and data offload. Please also note that a USB interface cable comes with the purchase of a HOBOware Pro CD (BHW-PRO-CD), only.
