The OK International MRS-1100A Modular Rework System is an upgraded version of the MRS-1000 Modular Rework System. The system has been enhanced by adding a free-standing board holder, and a redesigned adjustable tool holder. The most noticeable difference is the addition of the BH-2000 free-standing board holder to replace the board holder rails that were part of the prior ATH-1000 system. This new board holder will provide more flexibility in board size and thickness, and a more stable working area.
The MRS-1000 is perfect for removal and placement of SMT Components. Specific examples of applications include: Simple removal and replacement of delicate SMT components, quick, easy and cost effective removal of BGA and CSP that will later be placed with your dedicated Array Package Rework System, this increases the productivity of your rework area and reduces your technicians workload, automaticity lifts the component at the end of the cycle, preventing operators from prematurely lifting components and damaging expensive PCBs.
