Many imported microscopes include plastic components, or topical ESD coatings that will degrade over time. The ProZoom 6.5 series is ESD safe by construction, and will stay ESD safe over the life of the product.

The trinocular microscope body of the TKPZTO-D model features true trinocular viewing. What this means, is that you no longer have to sacrifice an eyepiece image, to redirect the image to the video port. You can use the ProZoom 6.5 Trinocular as a standard stereo zoom microscope, as well as be able to view video on an LED screen (sold separately), or on a PC, in real time.

The TKPZTO-D ProZoom 6.5 Trinocular Microscope is equipped with a silky smooth, precision-glide ball bearing arm base assembly, which rests on a heavy-duty weighted base. The microscope also includes the model ML3000-D 150W Halogen Light Source with Dual Gooseneck Fiber Optic Light Guide. The ML3000-D is a fiber optic illuminator that provides years of high performance use. The illuminator features an internal IR filter that retains all heat to the power box, allowing cool, bright light to enter the fiber optic cable. The solid state design of the ML3000-D provides up to 45% more light than the competition. In addition, its bifurcated dual gooseneck offers 18 in. of total fiber reach. A set of focusable lenses is included on the fiber, allowing for optimum light dispersion. You can focus the light into very tight circles, or remove the lenses for a wide broadcast of light. The ML3000-D furthermore offers fully variable intensity control.
