The Milwaukee MW402 is a compact portable TDS and conductivity meter (0.0 to 10.0 g/L (ppt) range with a 0.1 g/L (ppt) resolution), with automatic temperature compensation. This meter is suitable for a wide range of appliations including educational and agriculture/horticulture as well as water and environmental analysis.

Soil conductivity is checked before fertilizer application to pinpoint field needs and after fertilization to establish its effectiveness. The TDS testing provides all agricultural operation with a method to optimize chemical applications and minimize operational cost.
