reliable design, the model 85XT has a large character, easy-to-read 4-1/2 digit
display. It offers high resolution and VDC accuracy of 0.05%. Model 85XT is True
RMS measuring and will accurately display any AC signal, whatever its waveform
and distortion. This feature is very useful for engineers and technicians
working with signals that contain harmonics, such as switching power supplies
and UPS. |

Model 85XT also measures frequency, in three
ranges up to 200kHz, using the standard test leads. A Data Hold function
keeps the last reading on the display, so the user can concentrate on
good, safe contact with the test leads, then pull away to read the value
on the meter. Diode test and continuity test with beeper are also
standard.
