  • Lens size (6.75" X 4.5") determined by ergonomists to optimize viewing area without being intrusive to the work environment
  • An adjustable neck assembly for positioning the magnifier head at the proper viewing angle so the operator maintains correct posture
  • WAVE+ magnifier heads are molded from ABS plastic and have polycarbonate lamp (bulb) covers
  • Lighting: two 13-watt quad compact fluorescent tubes
  • UL/CUL listed
  • Top-mounted accessory lenses, including a 10-diopter swing away lens
  • Dual switches for independent control of each light; with one light on, shadowing is possible; with both on, full illumination results
  • Precision-ground white crown optical quality glass lens makes it ideal for inspection
  • Magnification: 3.5 diopter lens (1.85x)
  • Total magnification possible: 4.35x
  • A blue indicator for each lamp (indicating on/off of fluorescent tube)

WAVE+ magnifiers are the top choice of technicians, assembly operators and quality control inspectors because their wide-view, rectangular-shaped lenses, excellent lighting and time-tested arms are easiest to use. Over a decade ago, WAVE magnifiers - the predecessor of WAVE+ magnifiers - first integrated a rectangular-shaped lens with dual lights in a sleek, low profile housing to achieve a top quality, well designed illuminated magnifier that was highly functional. It received the "Best Industrial Designed Product" award at the 1987 Hannover Fair. Since then the product line has evolved into several product series that comprise the WAVE+ family.
