The RAMCHECK DDR 184-Pin Adapter tests the next wave of memory technology, DDR SDRAM. It is the first adapter in our DDR SERIES, intended to cover the popular desktop 184-pin modules. This new product is now available.

This adapter tests PC2700/2100/1600 (also known as PC-333, PC-266, and PC-200) modules, including Registered and Unbuffered DIMMs, complying with current JEDEC standards.

RAMCHECK automatically detects the presence of the adapter indicating "RAMCHECK DDR SERIES" during power on. The module size, structure, and type are automatically detected, without the need for user's setup. Test flow of the DDR modules follows our standard Basic Test, Extensive Test, and Auto-Loop process. It is similar to the RAMCHECK test flow for SDRAM, so that there is no need for operator's special training.

PC2700 (PC-333) Compatibility Note

Currently, the maximum operation frequency of the adapter is 300MHz, so that PC2100/1600 modules are tested at true maximum clock speed, while the new PC2700 modules are tested at a reduced clock speed. Future enhancement of our DDR SERIES technology will enable us to provide a scheduled upgrade to 333MHz later this year.

Note: This adapter can be used only on RAMCHECK. It is not supported by our other generation of test equipment.
