Thin and compact, the Hioki 3246 is a easy to carry and use. On
the end is a built-in penlight that illuminates the test point,
making it easier on the user to determine where and how close
the tip is to the desired surface. In order to remove the need
for cumbersome Fuses, the 3246 include 600V circuit Protection.
Hioki makes it easy to record and keep track of the voltage by
having the LCD backlight in the screen high visible, even in
dark locations.
When not in use, the test probe slides back into the handle,
both protecting the probe from damage and keeping it out of the
way when it's not needed. The protective probe tip cap clips to
the bottom of the handle, keeping it in a safe place while the
multimeter is in use.
