Hamlet’s MS9000 MonitorScope is compact, low power On Screen Display (OSD) device with a built-in XVGA display, which is an ideal alternative to, and/or replacement for broadcast measuring devices in production or engineering environments. Especially where repetitive monitoring or measurements need to be made. Areas such as, master control, pre or post production, editing and graphics suites, remote sites and OB vehicles. Indeed anywhere serial digital signals or multi-format measurement is required.

The MonitorScope MS9000 is a modular instrument, which makes it easy for the user to upgrade at any time. The optional module to show signals on a DVI/XVGA 1024 x 768 @ 60Hz digital or analogue external monitor through use of a DVI-I socket.

The MS9000 unit is capable of analysis, measurement and monitoring of HD SDI, SD SDI and composite video signals as well as audio in its embedded, or AES/EBU formats and generating HD SDI and SD SDI video and audio signals dependant on the installed modules.
In addition, Colored traces, Line Select, stuck bit detect (no activity on one data line), Waveform, Vector, Audio and Picture can be monitored and measured on the MS-9000. There is a headphone socket on the front so the decoded audio can be monitored.

Using the new Option 03 module, video and audio generation is now available simultaneously with the monitoring and measurement allowing a closed loop-testing environment to be set up with the device/system under test
