The goal of a well-run network is to provide your end users with immediate access to the applications they need. How do you know if the network is delivering? Network management solutions provide a view of the devices and links on your network such as which ports are up or down, traffic patterns, and server or router utilization. While these measurements can provide hints, they can’t provide a complete picture of the user’s application experience.
