IGM Technology

The FLIR CM74-NIST 600A AC/DC True RMS Imaging Clamp Meter, Infrared Guided Measurement (IGM) Technology, NIST Certificate of Traceability gives you better access to wiring in hard-to-reach places, and provides all of the measurement capabilities you need for advanced troubleshooting. Made with a narrow jaw and high-powered LED worklights, the CM72 makes it easier to take measurements in dark, crowded panels and cabinets. Its slim, light design is convenient to carry in your back pocket wherever you go. With advanced electrical features including Autoranging, True RMS Voltage and Current, LoZ, Inrush, and VFD Mode and an input for a flexible current probe accessory, the CM74-NIST has all of the measurement functions you need to stay competitive and ensure accurate readings.

FLIR's exclusive 12-Point Inspection and Calibration Program uses temperature references that are calibrated annually and traceable to the SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden, and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

12-Point Inspection and Calibration Program:

  • Perform a complete operational check
  • Image calibration and camera alignment, when applicable
  • Verify all internal cable and PCB connections
  • Upgrade internal camera software to latest revisions
  • Perform minor repairs
  • Verify and/or calibrate IR image as needed each temperature range for image uniformity
