The S183K offers programs for specialty and exotic fiber combination as well as high strength splicing applications and can splice polarization maintaining fiber faster than any other unit in the world.
The new rotation mechanism on the S183PM allows PM fiber to rotate while keeping straight and stable. This minimizes fiber twist, which can be detrimental to sensitive splicing applications.
