Lightweight & Rugged
At only 12oz the Extech i5 (IRC40) is lighter than an average cup of coffee.  The i5 is the smallest and lightest camera available, resulting in less user fatigue.  The IRC40's size is an easy fit for almost any tool kit or tool belts. A double molded and easy-grip handle construction meets IP43 dust/splashproof standards.

Image Sensitivity & Accuracy
The IRC40 delivers a high accuracy of 2% and thermal sensitivity of 0.1°C, providing compliance to NETA testing requirements. Subtle temperature variations can signal faults in electrical components. Seeing smaller temperature differences accurately gets you sharper images.

Radiometric Image Storage
The i5 stores images in standard JPEG format on a miniSD card. All 6,400 thermal pixels are saved and can be analyzed on a computer using QuickReport Software. Images can be recalled on the camera as well as imported and shared into e-mails, Microsoft Word® and Powerpoint® documents without losing valuable radiometric data. Full results can now be shared anytime - anyplace.
