The Extech DCP42 Single Output Programmable Continuous Switching DC Power Supply (42V/10A, 160W) offers high efficiency electrical power conversion for greater energy conservation and a lighter overall weight.

This unit constantly calculates and adjusts the voltage and current limit points according to the available maximum power of 160 wattage. At the maximum current of 10 amperage, voltage is limited to 16 voltage. At the maximum voltage of 42 voltage, current is limited to 3.8 amperage. The dual-action rotary encoder control features a push knob for fine or coarse tuning.

By utilizing the supplied software, driver, and USB cable, remote control for programming, output voltage and current, and power control is possible. Three on-board user-defined voltage and current presets are included along with up to 20 presets with up to 999 cycles each being able to be stored on a PC via the USB cord and software. The software includes both DC ramp and waveform generator abilities.
