Two 4-pair jacks along with a modular cord terminated with a 4-pair universal plug allow for accessing any standard 6 or 8-position jack. For quick reference while in the field, USOC, T568A, and T568B wiring charts are printed on the body of the tool.

The Eclipse 900-244 individual conductors are broken out by pin number and correspond to eight separate test pads, while the test equipment can be securely attached to the test pads using alligator clips.
