The WD2025017 meter also features an infrared input that accepts an optional IR wand for non-contact measurements of objects that are difficult or dangerous to reach; order wand 20250-24 separately below. The IR temperature reading can be used as a unique input when calculating temperature differential. The IR wand has a distance-to sight ratio of 8:1 and temperature range of –31 to 1022° F (–35 to 550° C).

The WD-20250-17 has dual inputs and includes all the standard features, plus the meter continually scans each temperature channel providing current real-time measurements.
