Exceptional Functionality and Versatility

Model 5491A Bench Multimeter features two large, easy-to-read, front-panel-mounted VFD displays. The line voltage is 100V/120V/220V/240VAC, +/- 10%, 50/60Hz, 16VA maximum with a best resolution of 1uV, the AC voltage (True RMS), dBm, 12A maximum AC and DC Current, and frequency to 1MHz. Overload protection via an audible beeper is provided for both voltage and current measurements. The Model 5491A has been designed and tested according to EN 61010-1 (IEC 1010-1) Safety requirements for Electronic Measuring Apparatus.

The optional rack mount kit (RK 01) allows the user to install the Model 5491A in standard 19-inch racks and combine it with other test instruments usually found in R&D and automated ATE test environments. Its RS-232 port provides an easy method for downloading and logging data obtained from units under test to a PC for a multitude of uses including graphing, calibration, etc. The compact bench top unit (4.1" H x 12" D x 10" W) (105mm x 305mm x 255mm) only weighs 6.6 lb. (3Kg).
