The BK Precision MDL252 is a two channel 80V/20A/250W/50W optional module for the MDL001 Modular Programmable DC Electronic Load Mainframe. The MDL001 mainframe has four slots that can be configured with any assortment of the modules up to 8 channels (up to 16 channels with mainframe extension MDL002).

The MDL252 is a dual-channel 250 W load module supporting a unique flexible power configuration. The user can allocate up to 250 W to either channel up to 300 W total (e.g. 50 W/250 W, 250 W/50 W, 150 W/150 W), thus replacing many dual-channel modules with fixed power distribution.

The high-performance MDL252 electronic load module is capable of operating in constant current (CC), constant voltage (CV), constant resistance (CR), constant power (CW), and constant impedance (CZ) mode, which uses DSP technology to simulate non-linear loads and realistic loading behavior. All panel operation and programming functions are carried out on the MDL001 mainframe panel. A wide range of dynamic loading applications can be simulated through user-programmable slew rates, load levels, duration, and conducting voltage.
