Transient Operation

  • Enables module to periodically switch between two load levels
  • Power supply's regulation and transient characteristic can be evaluated by monitoring supply's output voltage under varying combinations of load levels, frequency, duty cycle, and slew rate

  • Transient mode up to 25 kHz in CC mode
  • Run transient operation programs remotely with application software

CR-LED Mode

  • Use load's unique CR-LED operating mode to test LED drivers
  • Function allows users to configure LED's operating resistance and forward voltage, along with voltage range, to simulate loading behavior of typical LEDs

Voltage-on (Von) Latch Operation

  • Control input turn on state for DC electronic load by configuring Von latch function
  • Can be used to start and stop discharging of battery or other power source at specified voltage levels
  • Built-in rise and fall time measurement can measure rise or fall time from specified start and stop voltage level of measured input without need for oscilloscope
  • Built-in rise/fall function can also be used as internal timer to count how long input has been enabled

Adjustable Slew Rate

  • In CC mode, users can control rate or slope of change in current in transient response test
  • Set slew rate to as slow as 0.001 A/ms or as fast as 2.5 A/μs, depending on model and selected current range
