Aginova is Pleased to introduce the Aginova iCelsius and Aginova iCelsius Pro, designed
to extend iPads by employing a temperature probe to convert iPhone, iPad or iPod touch
into a digital thermometer. Available for
download from the App store, the new product offering from Aginova can read the
temperature, create graphs, set up alerts, store data and email graphs.
A thermometer uses a liquid like mercury or alcohol to measure temperature which is
provided as a Fahrenheit or Celsius reading. The Aginova iCelsius on the other hand
reacts much faster to changes, which enables it to provide temperature readings rapidly.
The Aginova iCelsius and iCelsius-Pro can provide accurate temperature readings
up to
the ranges of -22°F to 302°F (-30°C to 150°C) and can be used for various
applications. The Aginova iCelsius Pro uses a 4" stainless steel tip to report
temperature readings through the iPhone / iTouch / iPad when the probe is in thermal contact with matter
while the iCelsius uses a compact 1" stainless steel tip.

Live Temperature
The Aginova i-Celsius displays the most recent reading from the I/Celsius Probe both as a digital
reading and analog reading. The user can set the Aginova iCelsius to show the temperature to read
in Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F) using the Toggle switch. The Red cursor shows the alarm upper limit (a blue cursor shows the alarm lower
limit).

Graphs
The Aginova iCelsius conveniently shows the Last minute data from the sensor on an easy to
reach chart. The red line shows the alarm upper limit (if set). A blue line would show the
alarm lower limit. Like with many other apps, you can easily zoom in and out of the graph
by simply pinching or dragging the frame.
Save Graphs in Picture Library or send them by email straight from your iphone. |

Alarm Setup
Allows you to set upper and lower Limits for the alarm to trigger when the program
detects whatever your testing has reached the pre-determined limit. Additionally,
you can program the Aginova to send out a call to another phone when the alarm goes
off. |

Education institutions have shown a growing interest in the iPads and iPod touches. The
Aginova iCelsius and iCelsius Pro can be of great use for K-12 education for STEM (Science, Technology,
Engineering and Math) subject as teachers can use their iPads and iPod touch to demonstrate
lessons and to conduct different experiments. Flexibility in use of the Aginova iCelsius
means elementary school teachers can help students understand the concept of temperature
while high school students can use the Aginova iCelsius to carry out more advanced
experiments in the lab.
Outside the education system, the Aginova iCelsius/Pro can be used to measure temperature
of baby formula, during cooking and to maintain the ideal conditions for many household
situations. The Aginova iCelsius is easy to use as the user simply has to plug the cable
into the device and then download the free application from the App Store.
