The CT200 CableTracker U/G Underground Cable Locator brings dual frequency
capability to limited budgets. Working at either 2Khz or 33Khz, the
CableTracker U/G simply works by connecting the built in transmitter to
the cable and following the audible signal. And with the low 2Khz
frequency, signal bleed and false readings of higher frequency locators is
a thing of the past. Many drop locators are confusing to use because
their signal tends to bleed over to other conductive assets in the
ground. In general, the higher the frequency the higher the bleed.
CableTracker U/G solves this problem with a low 2khz signal.
Alternatively, using the 33Khz signal, locates can be done inductively
with the optional induction clamp.
CableTracker U/G uses common "D" and 9v square batteries for easy
replacement (not included). |
