The Pomona 6254 7/16 DIN Adapter Kit will enable the field service technician to connect equipment that has 7/16 DIN connectors to other equipment that has Type N connectors. These connectors are not compatible, but both are commonly found on the same types of telephone equipment and test equipment. The key feature of the 7/16 DIN connector is the extremely high resistance to inter-modulation interference. These connectors are used in cellular phone and PCS systems to reduce interference in crowded cell sites and also in radio, television and repeater sites.
